In 1919, formal education was launched in Bahrain, marking Bahrain’s leadership and precedence in introducing formal education in the Gulf region. Thus, in 2019, we celebrated its 100th anniversary through this animation, commemorating a significant milestone in our educational history. Over a hundred years, the Hundred Leaves animation aspires to delve into the events that shaped Bahrain’s educational landscape.
From the establishment of formal education in 1919 at Al-Hidaya Al-Khalifa Secondary School to the myriad milestones that followed, this initiative seeks to shed light on the transformative journey of Bahrain’s educational system.
